Stand-up comedian and podcast host, Pete Holmes, is making a TV pilot with director and producer Judd Apatow. The current title of the show is Crashing, and is based on Holmes’ real-life experience of crashing with comedians in New York after his wife cheated on him. He has spoke candidly about this time in his life on his hit podcast, You Made it Weird.

Holmes’ other credits include the talk show The Pete Holmes Show on TBS and writing credits for I Hate My Teenage Daughter and Outsourced.

Apatow’s directing career includes Freaks and Geeks, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Funny People, This Is 40, and most recently Trainwreck.
