‘Now You See Me 2’: Cast and Synopsis Revealed

Now You See Me is a 2013 film directed by Louis Leterrier about a group of 4 stage magicians, Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson), Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher), and Jack Wilder (Dave Franco), that call themselves the Four Horsemen. This group performs shows in Las Vegas and in the process, accomplish seemingly impossible spectacles.

Now You See Me 2 commenced promotion, exciting fans for the summer 2016 release date. Lionsgate announced that the second installment will take place a year after the first film and it will once again revolve around the Four Horsemen. They are asked by an enemy to complete what will be their most incredible feat yet. All Horsemen except Isla Fisher will reprise their roles in the film, along with Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Caine. The cast will also receive 3 new additions. Daniel Radcliffe is said to be playing Walter Tressler, Arthur Tressler’s (Caine) son. Lizzy Caplan (Mean GIrls, Masters of Sex) will play Lula, possibly a replacement for Fisher’s character. Jay Chou will also be joining the film as Li.
