By: Desiree Williams

Set to premiere on Christmas day, Into the Woods, a film adaption of the 1987 musical, centers on fairytale characters who travel into the woods in hopes of fulfilling their deepest wishes. The first trailer was released in July, however it lacked singing.  A new trailer recently released includes two songs, the chorus from “Into the Woods”, which the audience will hear during the beginning of the film, and the witch’s song, “Stay With Me”.

This trailer also offers more glimpses at the stars of the film and their characters: the Wolf (Johnny Depp), the Witch (Meryl Streep), the Baker (James Corden), the Baker’s Wife (Emily Blunt), Jack (Daniel Huttlestone), Jack’s mother (Tracey Ullman), Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), her Prince (Chris Pine), Cinderella’s Stepmother (Christine Baranski), Rapunzel (Mackenzie Mauzy), and her Prince (Billy Magnussen). Enjoy!
