First in November, we have Interstellar, directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, and Michael Caine. Interstellar takes place in the future with a world slowly falling apart and desperately trying to find another world to survive in. This highly anticipated movie is predicted to keep audiences on the edge of their seat and is a must see fall blockbuster!

Next, everyone’s favorite furry-footed little friend, Bilbo Baggins, is back again for the third installment of The Hobbit, which premieres December 17th, 2014. In The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies, all elves, dwarfs, and men are forced to unite to defeat their shared enemies, Smaug and the Orcs, or fall. Students should make sure to find their way to this movie over fall break because it will not disappoint.
It doesn’t matter how old audiences get; they still love their fairy tales, especially when they have dark little twists. Into the Woods will satisfy most certainly satisfy these viewers. The story is a combination of multiple fairy tale characters, including Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk (Daniel Huttlestone), Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), and Rapunzel (MacKenzie Mauzy). There is a twist though; all these stories are tied together by one original story. Audiences will discover the charm and intrigue of Into the Woods on December 25th, 2014.
Lastly, a movie that may be underrated, Jupiter Ascending, starring Mila Kunis, Channing Tatum, Sean Bean, and Eddie Redmayne, is premiering February 6th, 2015. Jupiter Ascending is a story about a seemingly insignificant girl, Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis), who just so happens to be hidden royalty. When this is discovered, a large price is placed on her head to prevent her from ascending to her throne. Before too much is given away, audiences should all make sure to go see this movie next year!
